Annie Sansonetti is a PhD candidate in the Department of Performance Studies at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she teaches courses and conducts research in theatre and performing arts, children's literature, gender, sexuality, and women's studies, psychoanalysis, and critical theory.

 

Her dissertation is a study of feminine boyhood and transgender girlhood in contemporary art.
